Progress Wire Purchases Fan Guard Business

In August of 2007, Progress Wire purchased the sales and selected assets of the Horton Fan Guard business located in Indianapolis, In. David Agard, General Manager, of Progress Wire reports. "This acquisition was a strategic move in several ways. It helped diversify our customer and market base as all the customers are new. The equipment we purchased will increase our capacity in the manufacturing of wire forms, wire grids, and both large fan guards and small fan guards. We also have more capacity for fabricated wire assemblies like light guards and cable trays.
